Jesse Pintado

Jesse Pintado (1971-2006) was a prominent American guitarist known for his influential work in the extreme metal genre, particularly death metal and grindcore. He gained significant recognition as a member of the legendary band Terrorizer, which he co-founded in 1986. Their debut album, *World Downfall* (1989), is considered a landmark release in the grindcore scene, blending aggressive tempos with complex song structures and socially conscious lyrics. Pintado later joined the band Napalm Death in 1998, contributing to their critically acclaimed albums, including *Order of the Leech* (2002) and *The Code Is Red...Long Live the Code* (2005). His guitar work was characterized by rapid riffs, intricate solos, and a raw, powerful sound that helped shape the evolution of extreme music.
